HOT-DIPPED GALVANIZED STEEL

The hot-dipped galvanized steel is the most widely used and cost-effective steel in the world. It plays an irreplaceable role in terms of steel corrosion reduction and life extension, which makes it an energy-saving material. Also, it is a high value-added short-term product supported by many countries.

Hot-dipped galvanization is an effective way to prevent the base metal (CRC) from corrosion, and it is mainly used for producing steel structures and industrial facilities. The galvanized steel is produced by immersing the base metal into a molten zinc pot at 450 – 500℃ after removing grease or dust on its surface to adhere the zinc layer to both sides of the sheet surface, and thereby preventing corrosion.

Application

Galvanized sheet (coil) steel products are mainly used in construction, light industry, automobile, agriculture and fishery, and commercial industries. The construction industry is mainly used to manufacture anti-corrosion industrial and civil building roof panels, roof grilles, etc.; the light industry is used to manufacture the sheet of home appliances, civil chimneys, kitchen appliances, etc.; the automotive industry is mainly used to manufacture corrosion-resistant parts of cars, etc.; agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery industry is mainly used for grain storage and transportation, meat and aquatic products freezing processing appliances, etc.; commerce is mainly used as the storage and transportation of materials, packaging appliances, etc.
