Total inventory of five major steel varieties continued to decline slightly, threaded table demand increased by 5

Stocks of large steel varieties fell slightly by 11600 tons to 13.365 million tons on Friday, the fourth consecutive week of slight decline. Among them, social inventory increased month-on-month, and steel mill inventory was the lowest since the Spring Festival. Specifically, the rebar social inventory increased by 28100 tons, the steel mill inventory decreased by 74300 tons, the weekly output increased by 29000 tons, the apparent demand rebounded by 5.5% or 104100 tons to 2.1658 million tons, and the hot coil production decreased, but the inventory increased. The meter needs to be reduced by 2.64% or 85500 tons to 3,152,400 tons, in addition, wire rod and cold-rolled meters need to be reduced by more than 2%, and medium and thick plate meters need to be slightly increased.

Note: The total mill inventory of major steel products nationwide is the sum of the current week's mill inventories for five categories: rebar, wire rod, cold-rolled coil, hot-rolled coil, and medium-thick plate.

The total social inventory of major steel products nationwide is the sum of the current week's social inventories for the five categories, representing steel inventories in the market and ports, excluding mill inventories. It is influenced by both supply and demand, reflecting the market's capacity to absorb supply.
